As a Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) ART’s remit is to ensure that viable businesses and social enterprises in the West Midlands and adjoining counties can access the finance they need.

Our loans can be used for any business purpose, including asset purchase or working capital. We lend alone, or alongside banks or other financiers, and we are able to signpost you to independent Business Finance specialists for advice if required. We take a personal approach to assessing applications and can make money available quickly if necessary.

Our application process is straightforward. What you will need is a viable business plan and a realistic schedule for repaying the loan. See our Resources page for further guidance, or give us a call. We are an independent, mutual organisation owned by our members, both borrowers and investors.

Our investors are philanthropic companies and individuals whose core funding enables us to attract public and private sector support.
